Last week, a friend of mine from church sent me this prayer and I so appreciated it:
"We praise You Dear Heavenly Father.
You are Jehovah Jireh - the Lord our Provider.
You know Margo's every need and you are supplying for her.
We pray that we will be supportive as a friend to Margo.
Help us to be sensitive to the trial and unknowns she is facing,
and with that sensitivity we will accept the responsibility
to pray effectively for her.
Thank you for surrounding her with medical expertise, family
and a community of faith that will provide
answers, godly support and encouragement.
Praise you, Lord, that this experience can help mold Margo
more and more into Your image.
We pray that You give Spirit led instructions to her and her medical team.
Thank you, Lord, that the decisions and choices Margo makes
will be tempered by Your Word, prayer and wisdom.
In Jesus name. Amen."
