Friday night was New Life's 2018 Gala. I can not tell you how much fun we had and what a wonderful job Micah did! You can hear her yourself (sorry, they had this "old" picture up the whole time she was speaking) at:

What I found most amazing about the whole night, was that little girl in the wheelbarrow with Micah? Her name is Charis. Her mom, Bonnie, is a foster mom for New Life and I have had her in CPR multiple times. We sat at the same table as both our daughters spoke. We never realized that we had met nineteen years earlier when this photo was taken.
