The text I sent to Matt and Micah AFTER their lunches today said, "Reminder. I am not responsible to clean up your mess."
The first child who came into the kitchen started putting dishes in the dishwasher, then asked, "Oh, are you going back to work?"
"Yes, I am."
"I'll do this later." And never did.
The second child who came into the kitchen washed their dishes while I was on WebEx at the kitchen table.
Which child was which? Which child made me happier?
