Right Time. Wrong Room.

Three mornings a week, since the beginning of December, at 8:30 a.m., I've had a fifth grade student read to me.  He's read to me from Florida and from Minnesota.  He also shows up at 8:20 a.m., so I've adjusted my time so he can squeeze in extra reading.

Micah and I were in the kitchen this morning at 8:20 a.m. waiting for my student to arrive.  I was telling her this was so unlike him to be late.  Finally, at 8:26 a.m. he logged on.

"Mrs. Zupke, I was waiting for you in Mrs. Bakke's room."  That's his classroom teacher.  Right time.  Wrong room.😀😁😂
