Our fifth grade core math this week was geometry. Note: before this week, getting students to come to WebEx was like pulling teeth. I had one student in particular who I called the language line for every day. She never showed!
Then we started geometry. Monday was the area of a square or a rectangle. Almost everyone showed up. By Wednesday we had moved to parallelograms. Everyone was at WebEx at their appointed times! Friday we found the area of trapezoids. Everyone was early to WebEx!
