"It's the first book I've ever read."

This morning, my  8:30 a.m. student finished the book we'd started reading at the beginning of December with those immortal words, "I think this is the first book I've ever finished."  I'm assuming he meant LONG/ADULT/REAL book.  He read the whole thing to me because I'm still waiting for my copy to come in from the public library!  What an awesome accomplishment!  Congratulations, my fifth grade friend!
