"And friends are friends forever
If the Lord's the Lord of them
And a friend will not say never
'Cause the welcome will not end
Though it's hard to let you go
In the Father's hands we know
That a lifetime's not too long to live as friends"
If the Lord's the Lord of them
And a friend will not say never
'Cause the welcome will not end
Though it's hard to let you go
In the Father's hands we know
That a lifetime's not too long to live as friends"

This song came to mind after talking with a not-yet-believing neighbor yesterday afternoon. He asked about Micah's grad party and how we happened to have it at LivingWATERS Church. I shared the story and he asked where we really were attending church.
It was an interesting answer - Micah attends youth group and Bible study at LivingWATERS; I attend Bible study at Trinity; we're members of Trinity and just had a blast doing Vacation Bible School there; we're attending Berean weekend services.
So what am I thankful for? That when Jesus is in the middle of your friendship, it really doesn't matter where you attend church . . .
"But we'll keep you close as always
It won't even seem you've gone
'Cause our hearts in big and small ways
Will keep the love that keeps us strong"
