"Thankful Thursday!" unites once again with "Only at Sand Creek!"

It is amazing that when the heat index is over 100* and you're working outdoors at Sand Creek, you can still be thankful on a Thursday!  Here's why!

• We had guests today from Norway and Guatemala!  Imagine that!
• Even more fun - we had a a young man who was going to the "National Junior Ninja Warrior Competition"!  He also demonstrated the course when the competition was here in Minneapolis.
• We did not have to perform a rescue on the person who passed out from heat after doing the "Charlie Chaplin" on the high ropes course!  We gave her water, she was revived and she finished the course! 
• While practicing rescues, I was able to lift Mark off the line in two attempts!  Trust me, that's good!  It took me like ten attempts last week to lift Nicole and she weighs less!
• I was able to self rescue on line 2 - for the first time ever, I didn't make it in to the platform.  But neither did Mark . . . hmmm . . .

All for now - it's going to be another great day at Sand Creek!
