On Thursday, after technically six full days of work for me, our tutor team was offered an increase in hours. The principal met with us over lunch, lamenting the fact that he was unable to find any additional staff to cover the lunch hour. He asked if we would be willing to put in an extra half an hour a day to cover the lunch shift, either outside for recess or inside in the lunchroom.
Just like the Three Musketeers "All for one and one for all", we agreed to two more hours a week starting October 5.
