Only at Sand Creek . . .

After a challenging day on the course yesterday - can you say out of control birthday party for a ten-year old? - which was only made better because said child's father left a large staff tip last night, it was back on the course today.

We had seventy students out from Shepherd of the Lake Lutheran eighth grade confirmation class.  God was gracious.  I had the sweetest group ever - eleven girls from all over the South metro.  I sent them down the zip line, took them to the high ropes course and then crossed over the river with them into the low ropes course.

While talking with them at "Alligator Crossing", Amanda said she used to live in the Burnsville District.  Our conversation went something like this:

"Where'd you go to elementary school?"
"Marion W. Savage Elementary."
"Do you remember what teachers you had?"
"My very favorite of all was Mr. Zupke . . ."
"I'm Mrs. Zupke!"

Enough said.
