The first thing Sam said to me this morning was, "Wow! Is your face ever red!"
The first thing Steven the lifeguard said to me this morning was, "Wow! Are you ever sunburned!"
I am a lovely day-glo red! Neon even! I got a cortisone in my "good" knee on Tuesday. You don't even have to guess what one of the side effects of a cortisone shot is, do you?
Tomorrow . . . maybe it'll be gone! Until then, it hurts! And no, I'm not whining. I'm stating a fact. Amen!
