Twenty-two years ago today, we went before the judge and Micah became our daughter in the eyes of the law. We celebrated most oddly this year, with a lunch together Sunday afternoon at Buffalo Tap, her final pediatrician appointment at 8 a.m. this morning (our most favorite doctor is retiring!), and her taking the day off of work so she could go up to North Central University for a "Pop Up Shop" where the entrepreneurial students were able to sell their goods.
Top sales for Micah were
- Her malted milk ball cookies that finished in the top three of the StarTribune "Holiday Cookie Contest" in December;
- Her now known as "Better than Sweet Martha's" chocolate chip cookies (students across campus agree!); and
- Chocolate cup cakes, of course!
