This is Kimpo. You might be wondering why her chin looks so funny? She has a neurofibroma. Or shall I say, she had a neurofibroma. We removed it today. The not so funny thing about a neurofibroma is that even though it is benign, it is still disfiguring. Nobody wants to look different, not this kind of different. Let’s face it. We live in a society that takes appearance seriously. I’m really happy we were able to make this pretty girl even prettier by restoring her chin to the way it used to be. She’ll be able to hold her head up again. Her days of hiding are coming to an end.
