We made . . .

. . . a quick trip to Iowa yesterday to spend Thanksgiving Day with my dad.  We carried an already cooked turkey, a box of stuffing, a pumpkin pie, a container of Cool Whip, a package of crescent rolls, the makings for cabbage ramen noodle salad, and 9x13 pan of sweet potato souffle in the trunk.  

The best part of the whole meal?  After we had finished eating, Dad said, "Well, I get to keep the leftovers, don't I?"
