Once upon a time,
the Africa Mercy was the Dronning Ingrid, a train
ferry.
When she was converted to a hospital ship,
the train
tracks were covered with concrete and a floor was place on top of that.
Now, after 7
years of use, the tracks are starting to come up on Deck Three.
Imagine that!
Hence, the ship is currently in shipyard and
the wards/operating theatre's are getting new floors!
